Google Pixel 4 and Google Pixel 4 XL Features & Release Date

Undoubtedly, the Google Pixel 4 is the most heavily leaked smartphone of the year.  Usually if a smartphone is going to be released, the leaks will be revealed only a few weeks ago.

But Google Pixel 4 has been stuck in leaks for almost two months, not a month.

Release Date:

A recent report on the recently released Google Pixel 4 smartphone series shares with us some of its highlights and release dates.

The much anticipated Google Pixel 4 series will be launched on October 15th, with two variants - Google Pixel 4 and Google Pixel 4 XL.

Features:

Since the details of its features and specifications have been leaked online for months, we are able to confirm them through the latest reports.

According to the 9To5 Google site, which received the official specification sheets of these two Pixel 4 smartphones, the new smartphones will be released with Pixel Neural Core.

This could be a better alternative to the Pixel Visual Core, which was released last year on Pixel smartphones.  It is obvious that its cameras use neural networks to process photos.

Processor and Memory:

As for the rest of the specification, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.  They can come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of content storage.

Camera Setup:

Both Pixel 4 smartphones have dual rear camera setup.  It features a 12MP dual pixel lens + 16MP telephoto lens.

Other features:

The successors of the previously released Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones, the new smartphones will come with stereo speakers and USB Type C port.

In addition, both of these smartphones have been introduced with Face Unlock technology, Motion Sense and Titan Titan M security module.

As far as the similarities between the two new Pixel smartphones are concerned, the two smartphones differ in terms of display and battery as expected.

Display:

The Pixel 4 smartphone comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD + Smooth display, while the Gokul Pixel 4XL comes with a 6.3-inch Quad HD + Smooth display.

All these smartphones come with the Ambient EQ feature, which is a Google feature similar to Apple's True Tone technology.

Battery:

As for the battery, the Google Pixel 4 is powered by a 2800 mAh battery, while the Google Pixel 4XL comes with a 3700 mAh battery.
