Xiaomi's Mi Mix Alpha 5G, launched at a launch event in China, goes beyond the limits of what a smartphone's display can do. This smartphone uses a flexible screen to provide a full display experience, except for a dash at the back that has cameras, which include no bezels on the sides and minimal bezels on the top and bottom.
According to Xiaomi, these smartphones powered by sensors and AI are capable of detecting which side of the phone is able to view the content with its light. Also there are no buttons on the phone.
Among other highlights, the Mi Mix Alpha is the first smartphone to use a 108-megapixel Samsung camera sensor. The company will produce a limited volume at the end of December, which will cost CNY 19,999 Rs. 2,00,000.
