Xiaomi launched its Redmi 8A smartphone in India. The price of this much anticipated smartphone by super budget readers is very satisfactory. Xiaomi has launched an online launch event to officially launch this new Redmi smartphone. It has been announced that India will be the first to acquire the Redmi 8A smartphone.
This means that the Redmi 8A has not yet been introduced in any other country, including the company's own home market, China. Introduced under the super budget category, the Redmi 8A competes directly with smartphones like the Realmi C2 and the Samsung Galaxy M10.
According to the company, the Redmi 8A is a budget smartphone and is one of the best smartphones available at Rs 7,000.
The Redmi 8A smartphone is available for a total of two storage variants - 2GB RAM + 32GB Sized Content Storage Model and 3GB RAM + 32GB Sized Content Storage Model.
Indian pricing for the 2GB RAM variant is Rs. 6,499. The 3GB RAM model in India is priced at Rs. 6,999 with a price tag.
The smartphone will be available for purchase on September 29 at 11:59 am via popular e-commerce site Flipkart and the company's own website.
The Redmi 8A features a single 12-megapixel rear camera, yet supports portrait mode.
At the time of the launch, Xiaomi talked about its Redmi 8A smart-in-camera capabilities. This means that it will simply knock down Samsung Galaxy M10 and Realmi C2 smartphones.
As for the front, the Redmi 8A features an 8-megapixel-sized selfie camera.
The smartphone with Splash-proof P2i coating has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. It features a 6.2-inch HD + display.
Another highlight of this smartphone is its 5,000mAh battery. It has USB Type-C port and 18W fast charging support.
The Redmi 8A is powered by Snapdragon 439 SoC. As mentioned earlier, the base variant of the Redmi 8A smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM with 32GB of storage, while the high-end variant has 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage.
Both have a dual SIM slot with a dedicated microSD card slot. You can get up to 512 GB of memory.
Xiaomi calls this new Redmi 8A smartphone a wireless FM radio, which means you don't need a headset to listen to FM radio stations. However, there is no fingerprint scanner on the Redmi 8A smartphone.
It is noteworthy that xiaomi Teas made the Redmi 8 smartphone during the event. Redmi 8 is another smartphone that Xaiomi has not yet introduced in any other market.
