Over the past few weeks, the OnePlus company has been sharing a lot of details about its upcoming OnePlus TV. Pete Lau, the CEO of OnPlus, spoke in detail about some of the features expected from OnePlus TV.
Of those reports, the QLED display on the OnePlus TV is one of the largest ever released. This is because smart TVs with QLED monitors are premium TVs with a price tag of over Rs. 1 lakh. It looks like OnPlus has taken the decision to overturn that “unwritten law”. This means that if the upcoming OnePlus TV features a QLED display, it will have a price tag of less than Rs 1 lakh in India.
The 55-inch is solid!
In order to confirm that the OnePlus TV will be released under "multiple" display sizes, OnPlus has released its 55-inch TV-based teaser.
Thin bezels design!
This latest social media post by OnPlus confirms that the most affordable QLED Smart TV to come into the Indian market is a 55-inch screen.
The teaser photo released reveals the very thin bezels design of the OnePlus TV. Most of the QLED TVs currently available on the market have a very limited range of bezels, so this can't be a highlight.
We don't want to spoil the beauty of the OnePlus TV by claiming to have a new design," said Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus.
As for the release, the OnePlus TVs may be debuting next September. This is the first available for consumers in India. Apart from the Indian market, it will also be introduced in markets in North America, Europe and China regions.
What features might it have?
As far as features are expected, OnePlus uses advanced technologies such as 5G, AI, VR and AR on its smartphones so that we can expect "same" model capabilities, such as smart home, on the outgoing TV.
What are the expected TV screen readings?
The OnePlus TV, which is expected to be launched with a 4K LED panel, will be available in four screen sizes - 43 inches, 55 inches (confirmed), 65 inches and 75 inches. This TV is more likely to work with Google's Android TV operating system, Oxygen OS.
