Android Warning to Uninstall this Apps immediately! Because..

Google-owned Google Play Store has been under heavy criticism lately especially for the past three weeks.  Because in the last month alone, over 40 malware apps have been found in the Google Play Store and it has been recommended to remove them.

Recently, 33 apps were listed under the code name 'Dangerous Apps' and were asked to uninstall them immediately.  Subsequently another app is added to the list.  The Hacker News shared this with us via its Twitter site.

According to the available information, the name of the newly added app is CamScanner.  It is worth noting that this app has been downloaded and installed by millions of users around the world, and you may be one of them.  If so, you are asked to uninstall it immediately.

The malware app, invented by Kaspersky researchers, is described as "an app that produces PDFs via a smartphone with optical character recognition called OCR".  According to researchers, "this app is shipping with malicious ads."

Researchers say GameScanner is "a legitimate application."  That means complying with law or regulations.  They also say that the app has "no malicious intent." But, this GameScanner App is openly used by its developers to generate natural business revenue.  In-app purchases are also available to generate additional revenue.  Researchers say they "at one point became malware."

Trojan Dropper to Help Steal!

According to researchers, the maple contains a malicious module called "Trojan Dropper".  It is a malware designed as a "distribution mechanism" to help deliver another piece of malware under a specific purpose.

So a hacker can steal your bank credentials, create fake advertising clicks, or sign up and link you to fake subscriptions.  It is recommended that the user who wants security do not uninstall CamScanner, and those who have already installed it will uninstall it.
